ecoInsight releases energy audit application for iPad

ecoInsight, Inc., provider of energy-efficiency software products to the lighting and electrical industry, has released Version 2.1 of its Energy Audit application for the iPad. Available on the “NAED Energy Audit Solution powered by ecoInsight,” this new release builds upon the app for lighting audits with added functionality for collecting motors and drives data during on-site audits.

The new version helps sales professionals, motors, drives, and automation specialists, and others in the electrical industry:

• Take and mark-up photos during on-site facility walk-throughs
• Capture audio and text notes during important customer conversations
• Record motor and drive information in the field using customizable operating profiles and field-based drive upgrade recommendations
• Audit efficiently and effectively with enhanced functionality based on user feedback.

To date, nearly 1,100 subscribers from more than 170 members of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) have used the previous version of the “NAED Energy Audit Solution powered by ecoInsight” to help boost their efficient-lighting proposals.
