Bo-Witt adds Kevin Sweeney as VP of business development

Bo-Witt Products, Inc., the Edinburgh, Ind.-located producer of insulators and custom molding, has added Kevin Sweeney as vice president of business development. He began his career with Allen Bradley Co. (Rockwell International) in manufacturing engineering, and while there he was responsible for thermoset composite tooling and manufacturing engineering at the company’s molding facility, Rostone. Sweeney then spent six years with Ash Medical Systems developing manufacturing methods and processes for clean room manufacturing and assembly of kidney dialysis equipment.

He rejoined Rostone and directed all facets of engineering, research, and development as director of engineering and R&D. Sweeney then served with Kurz-Kasch, where he was responsible for design, tooling, manufacturing, and process engineering. He has more than 25 years of experience in product design, material selection, tool design, bringing new products into production through project management, metal-to-plastics conversions, design for manufacturability, and lean manufacturing. Sweeney served on the board of directors for the Society of Plastics Engineers and has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical technology from Purdue University.
