$5.5 million facility to be new face of flow instrumentation company

Badger Meter, the Milwaukee-based flow measurement and controls manufacturer, is making sure that, if judged by its cover, it produces a positive judgment. The company recently completed construction of a state-of-the-art new “Customer Experience Center” in suburban Milwaukee.

Dozens of Milwaukee-area business and community leaders were invited to tour the $5.5 million, 38,000-square-foot facility which showcases the company’s commitment to sustainability and what Badger Meter’s president and CEO Rich Meeusen called the largest indoor flowmeter testing facility in the country.

The center, located in suburban Brown Deer, will be used for customer and employee meetings, training sessions, conferences, tours and local events, reported Tiara Cole of the Milwaukee Business Journal.

The facility contains testing labs, impressive outdoor LED lighting (depicting flowing water, no less) and a 300-seat auditorium, to boot. Talk about a statement letting the public know you’re not selling.
