Dreisilker Appoints New CEO

Rick Proud will bring extensive manufacturing experience

On September 27, Dreisilker Electric Motors, Inc., the Glen Ellyn, Ill.-based electric motor reliability and repair services company, announced that veteran manufacturing executive Rick Proud has been named its new Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Proud brings extensive manufacturing experience, having held high level executive positions with both Abrasive-Form Inc. and GE Aviation. Most recently, Proud was President of Turbine Component Resources, where he led all aspects of the organization.

In his role as CEO, Mr. Proud will be tasked with leading Dreisilker’s day-to-day operations and ensuring company-wide strategic alignment and go-to-market strategy development for all business units. Proud will report directly to company president Leo Dreisilker.

“We are excited to have Rick join our leadership team” said Mr. Dreisilker in an official press release given to the Chicago Tribune, who first reported the story September 27. “With his impressive operations and strategic planning background he is uniquely qualified to drive the organization forward” continues Dreisilker. “I have tremendous confidence in Rick’s ability to align our systems and further establish Dreisilker as the leader in providing electric motor solutions throughout the markets we serve.”
