Talent show will raise money for WaterAid

Armstrong Fluid Technology has launched a worldwide employee talent show to raise money for WaterAid, the international charity dedicated to providing access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation.

WaterAid is an international organization whose mission is “to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalized people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.” The organization works in 27 countries across Africa, Asia, the Pacific region, and Central America.

The company invited employees to submit five minute (or shorter) videos of singing, comedy, musical instruments, magic, pets, skits, unique talents, sports, poetry, and more. The submissions were done from August 15—October 15. Participants were only allowed to participate in one act, but could submit up to three videos with other family members in them. armstrong

First place will go to the video with the most votes, and second and third place will follow accordingly. There will also be a prize awarded to the video submission with most donations raised…and a surprise award to a randomly drawn video from all submissions.

Donations will be raised through kick-off events at each Armstrong location and through support of employees who submit videos. Each country determined the minimum level of funds to be raised for each video submission, with employees allowed to raise additional funds through their own efforts as well.

EA eagerly awaits the news of the show winners. Rest assured we will feature an update on who the winners are, and hopefully some of the videos, as well.
