Cass Appeal

Minnesota machining company rebrands and revamps

Cass Screw Machine Products, LLC, of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, has announced the renaming of the company to Cass Precision Machining. The company also launched a new website, it announced in a press release October 3.

Cass produces precision machined parts for OEMs throughout the USA and internationally. It has its origins in downtown Minneapolis, where it started in 1945 as a small machine shop and has grown into a five-building campus in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. The company recently completed a 26,000-square foot addition to one of its five buildings to streamline shipping and to support expansion of their machining operations.

“It’s an exciting time at Cass Precision Machining.  We are proud of our 70-plus-year legacy of being a trusted supplier to major OEMs,” said Jim Garvin, Cass Precision Machining’s President, said in a press release.

“The rebranding gives our customers a more complete picture of our expanded capabilities, and strengthens our position as a go-to supplier in the machined parts industry,” said Garvin. “We will continue to grow our company, update manufacturing, and develop our strongest asset – our team. We invite you to explore our new website to gain a broader understanding of our operations, the full breadth of our capabilities, and to get to know our team.”

Precision machining services from Cass including Swiss Machining, CNC machining, screw machining and finish grinding. The company offers a range spanning prototypes to high volume output.

For the CNC machining and associated industries, many could see this as a welcome sign that a long-running company in the Midwest is not only continuing to thrive in its core business markets, but also able to focus on expanding its brand.
