Through this acquisition, Sulzer says it expands its electromechanical services business into Southern California and gains access to the Californian wind, cement and water markets with established offerings and customers.

Founded in 1963, Brithinee offers electromechanical repair services, remanufacturing, redesign, upgrades, and modifications as well as custom electric control panel systems. The facilities are located in Colton, CA, USA. Integration will start immediately after closing.

Jim Mugford, President of Sulzer, noted “Brithinee strongly complements our existing service network in the Western United States and Texas. The company has an outstanding reputation with its customers, including key customers in renewable power generation and water as well as wastewater markets. With this acquisition, we look forward to welcoming Brithinee to the Sulzer team.”
